This is the heart warming story about young Mexican patient Javier Quintana. After being diagnosed with fanconi anemia - a disease that cause bone marrow failure - Javier underwent the extremely high risk bone marrow transplant as this was his best chance of overcoming the disease. Javier faced the prospect of having to go back to mexico for his treatment due to the insurance health care system governed by the US. However just as they were due to depart, they got a phone call informing them that a match had been found. Javier had his life saved by his unrelated bone marrow donor Robert Anciso.
