The goal is to start getting some miles under my belt before I tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Bpositive this summer but first I've got to get there.
With over 180 miles of road to cover it might be a bit of a slog but once I reach Hope Valley, my base for the next two days, I look forward to a well-deserved drink and a good night's sleep - both essential preparation.
So what's the plan? Saturday - tackle the first chunk of the Pennine Way. Sunday - take lead from my walking buddy Ingrid.
